Denehurst guest house in Windermere, is a traditional Lakeland stone house built in 1898 and full
of Victorian charm and character. Situated
in a quiet area away from the main road and with ample and convenient
parking, we are just a 10-minute walk from Bowness
and the Lake.
The
bus and railway station and the village of Windermere
are a similar
distance away.
We provide high standards of food and accommodation.
The service we offer is personal and professional but in a relaxed and
friendly atmosphere.

Each
of the 7 en-suite bedrooms are individual in style and colour scheme. Most of
the rooms have four poster or feature wrought iron beds. All the rooms have a refreshment tray which includes tea ,coffee, hot chocolate, fruit teas and biscuits, colour TV with either video or DVD players, radio, hairdryer, - and not forgetting the teddy! Our superior rooms also include bathrobes, complementary toiletries and mineral water.
In our comfortable lounge, you are welcome to relax and perhaps read through a selection of menus from local restaurants, access a wide variety of information on the local area, including walks in the Lake District as well as books, magazines and a selection of DVDs and videos. Wireless internet access is also available on request.
